Design Details

-This windbreaker is based on the 1970‘s Canadian Army Operational MKII Windbreaker. While not as well-known as military uniforms like the A2, P37, M43, or M65, MKII still holds a unique and niche position in military fashion thanks to its distinctive design and high aesthetic appeal.Canada began developing military uniforms in the 1960s, and in the late 1970s, the MKII was introduced. It was designed for use by the army in situations that did not require long-distance marching. The diagonal chest pockets, Canadian buttons, and drawstring waist have a high level of recognition. The diagonal pockets are effective at bearing weight without swinging during movement, and the back tailoring and waist drawstring highlight the waistline better. Unlike styles like the M43 or M65, MKII has larger and more three-dimensional pockets, offering strong practicality and a better decorative effect. Many of its functional designs are now considered fashionable.

-The fabric of this windbreaker is made from pure cotton, thickened, high-density tear-resistant ripstop twill. While the HBT herringbone series has received high praise, we didn't want to duplicate it. The high-density tear-resistant ripstop twill fabric is produced using a Toyota 810 multi-arm jet weaving machine, combining double warp and weft twists with yarn specifications of 40/2*21/3 and combed 40/2*21/3. The fabric has a clear texture, is thick, and holds its shape well, making it resistant to wrinkles. It uses environmentally friendly reactive dyes that are resistant to fading and wear, and the texture becomes even more appealing after prolonged wear and aging.

-The thickness of the fabric presents a considerable challenge for sewing intricate details such as large pockets, resulting in lower production efficiency. The jacket features a Talon No. 5 zipper, Coats sewing thread, khaki herringbone pure cotton lining, and silver-plated zipper pulls, with meticulous attention to craftsmanship and detail.
