Design Inspiration

Based on the British Royal Air Force overcoats from the World War II era (1940-1950s), this coat was supplied to officers of the Royal Air Force when their standard uniforms did not provide sufficient warmth. Before the advent of synthetic fibers, thick wool was the most common material for making overcoats.
